A global alliance of civil organizations and activists, sought to create a worldwide community of informed, inspired, and committed citizens to tackle global challenges. Their goal was to design and facilitate an inclusive space where partners could lay the foundation for their initiative. Key aspects to cover during the meeting included joint programming, building transformative relationships, and establishing a shared identity.
Proud collaboration with Naomi Saelens
The approach:
To achieve these objectives, a three-day process was designed centered around relationship-building, deep conversations on theories of change, and collaborative problem-solving. Each partner presented their plans and sought feedback from the group.
Together, participants identified critical collaboration moments, programmatic milestones, and opportunities for shared learning and influencing.
In addition to technical aspects, this initiative focused on fostering meaningful relationships among partners and with the hosting organization. By creating a supportive and collaborative ecosystem, participants learned from one another, shared experiences, and collectively worked towards the initiative’s objectives.
The outcome:
Emergence of a “BRAVE Village” – a shared identity born from a deepened sense of camaraderie, a clearer understanding of individual needs and contributions, and the first steps taken together as collaborators and peers.
